On Tuesday, October 19th, Disability:IN hosted the final round of the Pitch Perfect Challenge.

The challenge, which went through a Semi-Final round and then a Final round, involved eight Disability Owned Business Enterprises (DOBEs) as they pitched their ideas to supplier diversity corporate experts for the chance to win $10,000 in cash and in-kind prizes. The entrepreneurs will also receive a scholarship to Dartmouth College’s executive education program at Tuck Business School and have an opportunity to meet with supplier diversity decision-makers.

The judges panel included supplier diversity professionals from Cox Communications, City National/Royal Bank of Canada and MGM Entertainment.

After the Semi-Final round, there was a public voting period through a social media campaign, resulting in 2axend winning as the “People’s Choice” along with Blackbox Safety and Dusty Studio advancing to the Final round.

Congratulations to Blackbox Safety as the Final Winner of Disability:IN’s Pitch Perfect Challenge…the Supplier Diversity Event of the Year.
