Dow’s Disability Employee Network (DEN) Drives Awareness and Fosters Community During the month of October 2022, Dow’s Disability Employee Network (DEN), held a month-long celebration in honor of National Disability Employment Awareness Month. The celebration, themed “Let’s Talk About It” aimed to spark a courageous conversation around disability inclusion and foster both awareness and belonging among Dow employees, their families and the communities in which Dow operates. “Let’s Talk About It” featured three global webcasts on topics such as disability etiquette, neurodiversity and digital accessibility; highlighted more than 40 employee stories; showcased regional and local events around the globe and promoted a self-identification campaign across the United States. As a result, the campaign engaged nearly 8,200 employees across all regions and functions, and resulted in an 82% increase in U.S. employees who self-identified as a person with a disability. Dow’s ambition is to be the most innovative, customer-centric, inclusive and sustainable materials science company in the world.
