With an increase in concerns posed by Human Resource professionals regarding employees who had no prior limitations in performing their job duties, but who are now struggling to meet performance standards post COVID-19 infection, questions are now being asked as to:

  • What are the medical and psychological impacts of having had COVID-19, and
  • How do we assist workers with new limitations in being able to perform the essential functions of their jobs in a Post-COVID world?

To assist HR professionals in answering those questions and more, we are offering a free, informational webinar on the Medical and Psychological Aspects of Post-COVID Syndrome in the Workplace.

Our featured speakers:

Michael Saag, M.D., the Associate Dean for Global Health Director, UAB AIDS Research Professor of Medicine

Gitendra Uswatte, Ph.D. Professor of Psychology and Physical Therapy, University of Alabama at Birmingham

Kristine Lokken, Ph.D. Director of Psychology Consultation-Liaison Service; Associate Professor, Neuropsychologist, University of  Alabama at Birmingham

We are also offering on-going community of practice (COP) events after the webinar to help foster further discussion and provide resources for human resource professionals centered around return-to-work issues that arise due to COVID-19’s long-term effects.  We hope you will join us for the webinar and follow-up COP events.
