Laura Barbaro
Laura joined Disability: IN as an Inclusion Works consultant after spending 40 years in the semiconductor industry. She is known for her passionate advocacy of diverse and inclusive leadership, employee development and championing the voice of the customer. Throughout her 35 years at Intel, she was a One Intel leadership culture warrior, encouraging everyone to bring the best version of themselves to work and driving diversity and inclusion initiatives. She encourages others in the power of BELIEVE and approaches her work with a Can Do Attitude: “Nothing is impossible; the word itself says “I’m Possible”! (Audrey Hepburn). She was the Co-Chair of the Intel Disability Leadership Council where she was responsible for interpreting global disability strategies to senior leaders, leading efforts in retention, progression, recruitment and professional development, develop and advance community leaders to impact company success, connect the voice of the community to the executive leadership and provided advocacy and sponsorship to community members. As a Vice-President, she was also an Executive Inclusion Advocate, a member of the Management Experience Sponsor and Executive Sponsor for US Paralympic, Lex Gillette. Laura treasures her family, enjoys her Peloton, embraces everything Italy, and works tirelessly as a volunteer in her communities giving back to those in need and being the voice of those who are silenced.
