Jason LaPrade discovered his passion for food growing up in rural Vermont and then as a culinary student at Johnson & Wales University. He joined Sodexo in 1993 and worked as a chef at the Museum of Science in Boston for Creative Gourmet, Sodexo’s corporate catering brand. Jason was committed to learning all aspects of this off-premise catering business and was promoted to general manager. He transitioned to Sodexo’s Universities segment in 2005 as the general manager for various higher education accounts, helping to drive those programs and exceed our clients’ expectations.

Currently, as district manager, Jason maintains a personal involvement with our accounts by working closely with the general manager and on-site teams to establish and follow through on delivering program objectives. Jason listens to comments, suggestions and criticisms and works to proactively resolve any issues. He tries to see the challenges through the customer’s eyes and ensures that the expectations of campus leaders and the campus community are met.
