Bio

Faizia Sharif is the Corporate Relations Coordinator at Disability:IN. She graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2020 with her degrees in Journalism and English.

During her time at UMass, Faizia was very active in several nonprofit organizations and did some legislative work for State Representative Carole Fiola at the Massachusetts State House. She was a fellow in the UMass Women into Leadership program class of 2018 and went back as the Alumni speaker for the 2021 Annual dinner.

Upon graduating from UMass, Faizia joined the Massachusetts Fair Housing Center as the Civil Rights Testing Coordinator where she handled numerous fair housing projects to dismantle the discrimination that takes place during the housing process.

Faizia is very dedicated to make this world a better place. She has over six years of non-profit experience and is highly passionate about Disability: IN’s mission. In her free time, she enjoys reading, cooking, and living a healthy lifestyle.
