In recognition of Disability Employment Awareness Month, Disability:IN Chicagoland, will partner with McDermott Will & Emery, for a discussion on Supporting Self-Identification to Build a Culture of Inclusion. Recent demand for inclusive corporate cultures has created a new call to action for companies to improve the collection, promotion and utilization of voluntary disability self-identification data. Well-timed outreach, multi-pronged communications, and workforce education can help create a company culture that supports self-identification and an inclusive corporate community. A panel of disability inclusion experts from Chicagoland corporations will share information and best practices around self-identification. Speakers include:

  • Jeanine Goodson, Diversity & Inclusion Operations Manager at McDermott Will & Emery
  • Jamie Kosberg, Manager, National Diversity Equity & Inclusion (DEI) CoE at KPMG and
  • Kevin Irvine, Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant, Individuals with Disabilities, Rush University Medical Center

A reception will follow with light hors d’oeuvres and drinks. Please join us for information sharing and conversation. Don’t miss this stimulating discussion and your chance to network with professionals from local companies who are prioritizing disability inclusion.
