    • A: Many of these companies are members of Disability:IN. Like Disability:IN, each of us is committed to promoting inclusion of people of all abilities in the workforce.

    • A: Your company has a formal Autism @ Work program that has been in existence for over 1 year and has been public about the program
  • Q: Does this group hold any conferences or events that I can attend?
    • A: Yes, we have an annual conference where academia, social partners, and companies attend. We also live stream the event.
  • Q: What is Disability:IN’s role in the Autism @ Work Employer Roundtable?
    • A: Disability:IN is organizing the Autism @ Work Employer Roundtable by spreading awareness amongst all communities and companies, making connections, and offering a place to meet in-person at the Disability:IN Annual Conference.
  • Q: Why did the group of employers choose to only focus on autism?
    • A: The Roundtable believes this is the start of a long-term, inclusive process. This initiative was launched in response to a growing number of requests from companies seeking to connect with one another regarding autism hiring initiatives. As business disability inclusion efforts evolve, additional initiatives may form.
  • Q: How long will the Autism @ Work Employer Roundtable run for?
    • A: There is no end date projected, as long as we can add value to the community of Employers looking to start similar type hiring programs.
  • Q: To join the Autism @ Work Employer Roundtable, it says my company needs to be running autistic hiring initiatives for a least a year. What does that mean?
    • A: We are looking for companies to join the roundtable as formal members who have programs that have been public for 12 months or greater. Any company can connect with the roundtable today to get advice on starting or evolving their programs.
