Laura Harty
Laura Harty is a Project Manager at BlueCross Blue Shield of Illinois, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma & Texas (HCSC) which she joined in 2012. Prior to joining HCSC, Laura was a Project Manager with AT&T. Laura serves as the Community Events Co-Chair for the company’s Employee Resource Group, In-Able, and has participated in more than 30 events annually.
Laura sees her greatest strength as working with others, and she is an inherent problem solver. She is passionate about connecting with HCSC’s communities and volunteering. She is Community Chair for the In-Abled BRG participating in more than 30 events annually. Laura is a Board member of Everyone Reading Illinois, which is a nonprofit focused on literacy for all who have Dyslexia.
Laura received both a Bachelor of Science in Education and a Master’s in Business Administration from Saint Xavier University. She also has a Grant Writing Certificate from De Paul University.
