Kristy Mandigo

Kristy Mandigo is the Chief Engineer on Multi-Platform Radar Technology Insertion Program (MP-RTIP) program, she started at Raytheon Technologies in 2003 and has had numerous technical and strategic roles that has led her to this chief engineering position. She is known as one of the SMEs and mentors for Digital Engineering, MBSE, Multi-CAD and Global PLM.

Mandigo earned a bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering at Cedarville University and a Master’s in Business Administration and Technical Management through Phoenix University. She has more than 20 certifications in Engineering and Management from prodigious institutions. Her plan was to go abroad and teach engineering in China, but Raytheon Technologies called. As a leader, she harnesses techniques to improve critical thinking and diversity. Rotating job tasks has given her confidence in her abilities to identify the “real” problems before rushing to solutions. Her Initiative is: retain, mentor & focus on people of all abilities.

In addition to her work at Raytheon Technologies, Kristy’s personal story has been published in magazines and websites and now in a book “ASK WHY BUT NOT WHY ME” globally. Kristy is a recognized face in diversity as well as her Technical Field. Her nickname the “Mandigator” has reached beyond the Raytheon Technologies community for Grit and Engineering Excellence. She is the executive Director for the Disability:IN Southern California. Her family husband and 2 sons are her biggest fans, and she honors through her commitments to STEM and DE&I initiatives. Her dream is to enrich others in the workforce, empower future generations, and raise her sons to honor and respect her growing legacy.
