Jeff Wissel

Jeff is the first ever Disability:IN Chief Accessibility Officer. In this role Jeff partners with Disability:IN Corporate Partners to establish and advance their accessibility and disability inclusion efforts. Jeff facilitates the Procure Access Initiative which focuses on prioritizing accessibility in procurement practices. As CAO Jeff consults on Accessibility Policy, Website and Mobile Accessibility, Inclusive / Universal Design and more.
Prior to joining Disability:IN, Jeff had a 28 year long distinguished career with a leading financial firm. Jeff started as a Mutual Fund Representative and worked in a variety of roles including multiple Pilot Start up Roles. In March of 2010, Jeff obtained the Certified Financial Planning Certification, and in 2016, Jeff Founded Employee Resource Group at the firm for individuals with disabilities. Today there are 6,250 active members.
In May of 2018, Jeff Co-Founded, and was the Director of the Office of Customer Accessibility at the firm. Since April 2020, Jeff established and was Director of the Procurement Accessibility Program.
Jeff is proud to share he is legally blind with a degenerative eye disease called Retinitis Pigmentosa (RP). Jeff has the IAAP CPACC Certification and the ADA Title II, III Coordinator Certification.
