Vaccination Verification – Health Pass by CLEAR App
As part of our commitment to safety at the 2022 Disability:IN Global Conference and Expo all attendees must provide vaccination verification before checking in.
We will be using Health Pass by CLEAR app, which provides a secure, digital proof of vaccination via the free CLEAR mobile app.
- Complete your health screening with Health Pass by CLEAR app ahead of time for expedited check-in and entry!
- In addition to Health Pass, those who have received a vaccination exemption for medical or religious reasons must present proof of negative PCR COVID test taken no more 48 hours prior to check-in. Negative tests can be presented at the Vaccination and Testing Verification Desk located next to the Registration counter.
- If you need Accessibility assistance to use Health Pass by CLEAR, please call Clear at 855-CLEAR-ME; tap “get in touch” in the app; OR visit the Vaccination and Testing Verification Desk located at Registration.
- It can typically take up to 30 minutes for your status to be verified. We encourage all attendees to complete this process at least 24 hours before the event.

- Already a CLEAR member? Use the email address associated with your membership and snap a quick selfie to verify your identity
Instructions for Health Pass by CLEAR app:
Before arriving to the event, complete your Health Pass for faster entry at check-in
- Open the CLEAR app and tap on the “Your Pass” tile.
- Confirm your identity with a quick selfie.
- Tap “Open Health Pass” to get your result. Green means you’re good to go!

Attire
Given that so many of us are used to working from home in more comfortable clothes, we are encouraging everyone to wear what is comfortable for them. Feel free to sport your company brand and jeans, or alternatively, a business suit if you prefer.
For the Inclusion Awards Gala, the suggested attire is cocktail.
Environmental/Chemical Sensitivities
To help make this conference accessible to participants for whom chemicals or fragrances are an access barrier, Disability:IN requests that you come fragrance free.
Upon Arrival
Registration
Registration is located on the 2nd floor of the meeting space outside of the Lone Star Ballroom.
In order to pick-up your name badge, you will need to show your Clear pass.
Registration will be open:
- Sunday, July 17: 3:30pm – 5:30pm
- Monday, July 18: 7:00am – 5:00pm
- Tuesday, July 19: 7:00am – 5:00pm
- Wednesday, July 20: 7:30am – 7:30pm
- Thursday, July 21: 7:30am – 11:00am
For everyone’s safety and security, conference name badges must be worn at all times. You will not be permitted entry to any meals without your name badge. Additionally, your name badge will include your seating assignment for Wednesday’s Inclusion Awards Dinner.
Swag Store
Disability-Owned Business Enterprise (DOBE) Tic Toc will have an on-site swag store full of Disability:IN swag for purchase. They will be set-up outside of the Lone Star Ballroom and at the Expo.

Wi-Fi will be available throughout the conference meeting space.

Shipped Items
If you have shipped items to the Sheraton Dallas Hotel for use during the conference, it can be picked up at the FedEx Store on the second floor, near the skybridge. Please bring your tracking number and be prepared to pay for all handling fees. They can be charged to your room.
Health & Safety On-Site
Masks
Face masks will not be required at the Conference, but we encourage you to wear a mask when not actively eating or drinking.
Clear masks are available upon request at the Registration Desk, which provide improved communication for all. The clear masks are provided by certified Disability-Owned Business Enterprise (DOBE) Safe ‘N’ Clear.
Testing
COVID-19 Rapid Antigen and Rapid PCR tests will be available on-site. Disability:IN has partnered with Ailm medical to provide testing throughout the conference. Individuals will be responsible for testing fees and will be billed at point of service. To register in advance for a test and to learn more, please visit the COVID button in the conference app or check out this digital flyer. You can also visit the Vaccination Verification and Testing Desk located next to the Registration Desk.
COVID-19 Protocol – should you take a test and it returns positive, you will need to follow CDC guidelines for isolating and care. You are responsible for any arrangements and costs associated with your care, transportation and housing.
Meals
There will be limited additional seating outside of the Lone Star Ballroom during meal functions, if you would like to have additional space while you eat. You will also be able to take your meal back to your room, but plates and silverware must be returned to the Lone Star Ballroom.
Additional Information
Hand sanitizer will be handed out at the Registration Desk and will be provided throughout the meeting space.
Colored stickers will be available when you pick-up your name badge for you to indicate your level of comfort being close to people, shaking hands, hugging, etc.
Accessibility
ASL Interpretation
ASL Interpretation will be provided at all plenary sessions, breakout sessions, committee meetings, matchmaking, and events where remarks will be made. Additionally, ASL interpreters will be floating at networking events, receptions, and the Expo.
CART
CART will be provided at all plenary sessions, breakout sessions, committee meetings, matchmaking, and events where remarks will be made. Additionally, remote CART on a personal device will be available in the Expo.
Aira App
Aira is an assistive technology service that connects people who are blind or have low vision to trained, professional Aira Agents who provide visual information on demand – describing, reading, explaining, navigating – just about anything, safely and securely.
Aira’s service, accessed via a mobile app, shares real-time visual information through the back-facing camera on the user’s smartphone and will be available during the 2022 Disability:IN Global Conference and Expo at no cost to conference attendees.
We invite you to use Aira to navigate Dallas Love Field Airport and throughout the Sheraton Dallas as you check-in, attend sessions, visit exhibits and more.

GoodMaps Explore App
Find your way around the Conference and Expo with the GoodMaps Explore indoor navigation app! The Explore app provides turn-by-turn directions to meeting rooms and to the exhibit hall but not inside it.
The indoor maps are new and being tested for the first time at this facility. Provide feedback and learn how to best use the app at the Accessibility Help Desk located next to Registration. You can download the app on iOS and Android for free.
Service Animal Relief Area
The service animal relief center is located on the 4th floor of the hotel and is accessible via the north and center tower elevator banks. The area, Remington Patio, is located Immediately next to the center tower elevator bank 2 across from the rest rooms and next to the Remington meeting room.
Coming from the north tower elevators go to the 4th floor of the hotel. Walking down the main hallway, it will be on the first turn to the right. If you are staying in the center tower floors 30 and above, go the 4th floor. Coming from the center tower elevator bank floors below 30 it will be located at the next elevator bank. If you are in the south tower go to the center or north tower elevators and take to the 4th floor.
Written Hotel Direction
Sheraton Downtown Dallas has assembled written directions to the key locations of the hotel and the event spaces, which will be available in the Whova app.
