Will COVID vaccination be required to attend the Conference?
For the safety of all attendees of the conference, Disability:IN requires all attendees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including booster shot, prior attending the Conference. Please click here to learn more about submitting your vaccination card in advance.
Exceptions will be granted for individuals entitled to a reasonable accommodation for either medical or religious reasons. Requests for accommodation must be sent to [email protected] and will be reviewed by Legal Counsel. If an exemption is granted for COVID-19 vaccination, a negative PCR test taken within 48 hours of arrival at the conference must be presented.
Will a COVID test be required for all attendees?
Currently, COVID test will not be required for vaccinated and boosted attendees. Non-vaccinated attendees who are granted an accommodation will need to prove a negative PCR test taken within 48 hours of arrival at the conference and must be presented.
Will COVID testing be available on-site?
COVID-19 Rapid Antigen and Rapid PCR tests will be available on-site. Disability:IN has partnered with Ailm medical to provide testing throughout the conference. Individuals will be responsible for testing fees and will be billed at point of service. To register in advance for a test and to learn more, please visit the COVID button in the conference app or check out this digital flyer. You can also visit the Vaccination Verification and Testing Desk located next to the Registration Desk.
COVID-19 Protocol – should you take a test and it returns positive, you will need to follow CDC guidelines for isolating and care. You are responsible for any arrangements and costs associated with your care, transportation and housing.
Will masks be required at the conference?
Face masks will not be required at the Conference, but we encourage you to wear a mask when not actively eating or drinking.
Clear masks are available upon request at the Registration Desk, which provide improved communication for all. The clear masks are provided by certified Disability-Owned Business Enterprise (DOBE) Safe ‘N’ Clear.
Additional Information
Hand sanitizer will be handed out at the Registration Desk and will be provided throughout the meeting space.
Colored stickers will be available when you pick-up your name badge for you to indicate your level of comfort being close to people, shaking hands, hugging, etc.
There will be limited additional seating outside of the Lone Star Ballroom during meal functions, if you would like to have additional space while you eat. You will also be able to take your meal back to your room, but plates and silverware must be returned to the Lone Star Ballroom.
