Neurodiversity @ Work Roundtable

The Roundtable is a collection of cross-industry employers who spearhead neurodiversity-focused hiring initiatives at their organizations. Organizations represent a variety of industries including, but not limited to tech (hardware/software), biotech, financial services, consulting, manufacturing, retail, customer service, consumer packaged goods, entertainment, and more!

In addition to working together to drive workforce inclusivity and diversity, the employers in the Roundtable developed a job platform, Neurodiversity Career Connector, to connect neurodivergent job seekers with a variety of open positions at the inclusive companies across many industries who are members of the  Roundtable.

How It Works:

The companies in the Neurodiversity@Work Roundtable all have Neurodiversity hiring programs in place for at least one year and have seen the positive business impact.

The Roundtable believes this is the start of a long-term, inclusive and iterative process to enrich the lives of neurodivergent individuals and the workforce. This initiative was launched in response to a growing number of requests from companies seeking to connect with one another regarding neurodiversity hiring initiatives. As business disability inclusion efforts evolve, the Roundtable strives to continue to add value and additional initiatives may form.

Opportunities for Employers:

  • Join monthly employer forums to share advice and discuss experiences. Virtual meetings take place on the 2nd Wednesday of every month at 4 pm EST.
  • Participate in regular working group sessions on a variety of topics around increasing the talent pipeline and supporting employees.
  • Post your open roles on the Neurodiversity Career Connector site to gain access to a pipeline of talented neurodiverse candidates.
  • We have an annual conference where academia, social partners, and companies attend to network, learn best practices, and obtain helpful resources.

How to Join:

We are looking for companies (small/medium businesses and enterprises), who have implemented and been public about their Neurodiversity hiring efforts for 12 months or greater, to formally join the Roundtable. There is no fee to join.

Any company can connect with the Roundtable today to get advice on starting or evolving their programs.
