Senior Manager, Corporate Relations

Position Summary:

The Corporate Relations Senior Manager will use strong entrepreneurial, collaborative, critical thinking, and team skills to help the organization achieve significant growth in both scale and impact. Working with the Senior Director of Corporate Relations and the full Corporate Relations team, s/he will focus on identifying, cultivating,soliciting, and stewarding corporate partners through sponsorships, grants,partnerships, and employee engagement opportunities. This person plays a critical role in expanding our impact by driving revenue through mission-aligned sales and building strategic partnerships that advance our goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Corporate Fundraising & Revenue Generation:

  • Develop,pitch, and negotiate proposals for prospective partners, driving growth through targeted outreach and strategic storytelling.
  • Support the creation and management of a repeatable sales pipeline from lead generation to closing, including outreach strategies, qualification frameworks, and follow-up processes
  • Spearhead communication and fundraising strategies in collaboration with the broader team, with a focus on acquisition, partner retention, brand alignment, and long-term value creation
  • Identify,research, and qualify prospective corporate partners and sponsors.
  • Negotiate and secure new corporate partners and sponsors.

Relationship Building & Management:

  • Lead and manage a portfolio of corporate partners, overseeing strategic on boarding, relationship development, and alignment with organizational goals through regular touch points and high-level engagement.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact to corporate partners by identifying needs,developing tailored partnership strategies, and connecting them to solutions across Disability:IN’s four pillars—Data & Insights, Learning &Development, Network & Events, and Advisory & Consulting
  • Act as a Corporate Relations liaison for partner engagement at Disability:IN’s Global Conference & Expo and external events ensuring consistent, high-quality representation.

Collaboration & Cross Functional Work:

  • Represent the organization and Corporate Relations team in both internal and external meetings, effectively leading communications with senior stakeholders and supporting cross-team alignment.
  • Work closely with program, communications, and leadership teams to align corporate partnerships with organizational needs.
  • Collaborate on marketing materials, impact reports, and corporate-facing communications.

Reporting & Administration:

  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all corporate partners, potential corporate partners, proposals, and agreements in Salesforce.
  • Coordinate internal processes to fulfill sponsorship benefits, recognition commitments, and reporting requirements.
  • Analyze fundraising data to evaluate performance, identify trends, and recommend improvements to corporate fundraising strategies.

Required Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 7-10 years of nonprofit fundraising experience, with a strong emphasis on corporate giving and sponsorships required.
  • Proven track record of securing corporate gifts and partnerships.
  • Knowledge of sponsorship sales, cause marketing, or corporate grant making.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Highly organized,detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • A commitment to demonstrating a high level of truthfulness, integrity, reliability, and honesty with work time and commitments
  • A high tolerance for ambiguity; must be flexible and comfortable with unstructured time
  • Driven, self-motivated,and willing to take initiative
  • Team player who can collaborate respectfully and inclusively with others
  • Good judgment, knowing when to handle or escalate issues to leadership or peers

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Proficiency with Salesforce, Microsoft Office, and Google Drive.
  • Experience with grant applications and securing grants.
  • Experience with proposal writing and sponsorship fulfillment.
  • Passion for and commitment to Disability:IN’s core mission.

Work Schedule, Location & Travel Requirements

  • Disability:IN is a fully remote organization; employees are expected to operate independently from a home office.
  • Travel: Limited travel, as needed, approximately 2-3 times per year.
  • Schedule: Standard hours are 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. local time Monday-Friday with occasional evening and weekend work required.
