Operation Opportunity

Operation Opportunity is designed to help veterans gain ground in building fulfilling careers that promote mental health and wellbeing, as well as economic mobility by supporting skill transfer, social connections, and job placement by employers who want them. It supports the economic mobility of junior enlisted disabled veterans by creating fulfilling career connections through a talent development pipeline that places them in front of America’s largest corporate employers.

Veterans Scholarship Fund

The Veterans Scholarship Fund is committed to supporting U.S. military veterans with disabilities by providing them with financial assistance to participate in the prestigious Disability:IN Talent Accelerator. This scholarship recognizes the unique skills, resilience, and leadership potential of veterans, and aims to remove financial barriers that may hinder their professional development and career advancement.

This scholarship is designed to empower veterans with disabilities by providing them access to the Disability:IN Talent Accelerator – a transformative program that equips individuals with the tools, resources, and connections necessary to excel in the workforce.

  • U.S. military veterans with a documented disability who demonstrate a strong commitment to professional growth and career advancement
  • U.S. veterans with disabilities in Disability:IN’s NextGen Leaders program
The Veterans Scholarship Fund may cover:

  • Registration fees for the Disability:IN Talent Accelerator program
  • Travel and accommodation expenses related to program participation.
  • Necessary assistive technology and reasonable accommodations.

Veterans with disabilities often face unique challenges in transitioning to civilian careers. This scholarship provides critical support, empowering them to:

  • Communicate the value of their military experience and skills in the civilian workforce.
  • Build a strong professional network.
  • Gain access to valuable career development opportunities.

We invite individuals, corporations, and organizations to join us in supporting the Veterans Scholarship Fund. A contribution of $4,000 supports the participation of one veteran with a disability. Your generous contributions will directly impact the lives of veterans with disabilities, helping them achieve their career aspirations.  Contributions in excess of needs for the current year will remain restricted for this purpose to be utilized in the following year.
