Maya Brown

Maya Brown is an Events Associate at Disability:IN, supporting events and special projects. She brings experience across the nonprofit, arts, and cultural sectors, with a background in producing and executing live events, coordinating partnerships, and managing complex logistics.

Prior to joining Disability:IN, Maya worked at The Apollo, where she supported large-scale public programs and institutional initiatives. She has also contributed to On This Land, an independent, Ford Foundation funded program focused on community-based research, historical reckoning, and public storytelling.

Maya holds a B.A. in Creative Arts Management from Spelman College and is based in New York City.
