Ashley Clark-Purnell

Programs Associate

Ashley Clark-Purnell is a Programs Associate at Disability:IN, where she supports the Disability Index and Learning & Workforce Development initiatives.

Prior to joining Disability:IN, Ashley worked at the American Institutes for Research (AIR), where she led and supported national workforce and education initiatives focused on improving transition outcomes for youth and adults with disabilities. She also coordinated large-scale conferences, workshops, and training programs in collaboration with federal and state agencies. Earlier in her career, she held roles with the California Employment Development Department (EDD) and the Sacramento Employment and Training Agency (SETA), where she supported programs connecting employers, community colleges, and vocational rehabilitation services to expand equitable employment opportunities for underserved populations.

Ashley holds a Master’s degree in International Relations and Economics from the University of Oklahoma and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is passionate about advancing equity, accessibility, and representation in the workplace and lives outside of Atlanta, Georgia with her husband and three children.
