Abbey Hunter

Abbey is the Director of Operations and Events at Disability:IN. Prior to joining the Disability:IN team, Abbey worked with our event management partner to produce our annual Conference and Expo. Fueled by a passion for people and dedication to detail, Abbey has spent the last decade working for non-profits and associations across the globe to create and execute flawless events that inspire, connect, and generate meaningful change. With a background in operations consulting and hundreds of events under her belt, she brings a ‘cool as a cucumber’ approach to the process. Abbey lives in her hometown of Atlanta, GA with her husband, three dogs, and one very fat cat named Steve. She is a proud product of Atlanta Public Schools and the Public University System of Georgia.
