The APAC recruitment event is targeted to talent with disabilities from college students and early talent to experienced candidates searching for internships, apprenticeships or employment to connect with Disability:IN multi-national Corporate Partners searching for candidates with disabilities in the APAC region. Disability:IN’s goal is to bridge the gap between talent with disabilities and multi-national companies operating in APAC. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates/college students to learn about companies and their open positions and engage with their representatives.
The format will feature one recruiting room for each country (6 total) to run two (2) at a time concurrently: Eight (8) corporate recruiters representing (8) different multi-national companies will present their company’s overview and employment, apprenticeship & internship opportunities. The last 30 minutes will be live Q&A and dialogue with the participating candidates via the chat function.
The event will be accessible. American Sign Language (ASL) and sign language appropriate to the selected countries, CART (live captioning which will appear on the screen in English), and links to captioning in up to 30 languages will be provided.
Recruitment of candidates will be through outreach and connections to colleges/universities, Nongovernmental Organizations (NGOs), and other talent sourcing organizations in the targeted countries – Australia, India, Japan, the Philippines, Singapore and Taiwan.
