Lynn joined the Disability:IN team in 2014, initially with the former Going for the Gold program (now Inclusion Works). After two years, Lynn moved to the NextGen Leaders program where she oversaw administration, NextGen talent and development of the program for 7 years. In 2023, Lynn stepped into the role of Affiliate Relations Consultant after Lynn Kirkbride retired from this role after 30 years.
Affiliate Relations allows Lynn to be involved with education and communication with the 22 Affiliates across the US. These groups continue to support and educate at the local level regarding inclusive workplace practices and provide ongoing resources to ensure people with disabilities have a voice in contributing to the community. Lynn continues to build connections between Disability:IN corporate partners and the local Affiliates.
Lynn is a seasoned HR professional with over 35 years in HR generalist functions. She designed and implemented a disability inclusion project and helped create a sourcing pipeline of candidates with disabilities for a Walgreens Distribution Center before transitioning into consulting work in the disability inclusion environment. Lynn also worked with the Ohio Disability:IN Affiliate for several years, providing outreach to Ohio based business and sourcing individuals with disabilities across various industry sectors.
Lynn now resides in Fishers, Indiana with her retired husband, Curtis, and her grown kids and granddaughter are nearby.
