Kevin Hilbrunner currently serves as the ABLE ERG Vice President of Activities at BAE Systems and is a member of the Disability:IN ERG/BRG Leadership Committee.  The ABLE ERG mission is to be a resource to the Company and employees to: support the needs of employees with disabilities and employees who are caregivers of family members with disabilities; move the focus to the abilities and value of people with disabilities in the workplace and our communities; and advance disability inclusion in the workplace and our communities.

Kevin brings a passion for knocking down walls and barriers in the Disability Community and learned how to be a better advocate by graduating from the UNH IOD (University of NH Institute on Disability) NH Leadership Program with nationally known past graduating classmates: Filmmaker Dan Habib and Senator Maggie Hassan.  (Note: NH Leadership AKA Partners in Policy Making in other states.)   Kevin understands the legislative process, has helped pass new laws (RSAs) in New Hampshire and wants to improve accessibility to all in the workplace as well.  We are all a team in trying to improve diversity and inclusion not only in the workplace but also in society.

Kevin has been part of multiple projects with the PMO for over 15 years as a Master Planner, Deputy Project Manager, Deputy Risk Officer and Great Workplace team.  Prior to working at BAE Systems, Kevin also served in the US Navy onboard the AOE 6 USS Supply, AOE 8 USS Arctic serving in Norfolk, VA and at San Diego, CA Naval Station.

Kevin is always seeking to learn more by recently earning his PMP (Project Manager Professional Certification thru PMI), UNH IOD NH Leadership Program, Master’s Certificate in Project Management, Master’s in Business Administration and Bachelors of Science in Accounting from Southern New Hampshire University.  In Kevin’s spare time, he volunteers for Special Olympics NH events as well as helps as an assistant coach for the Winnipesaukee Warriors, a Buddy Cruise Ambassador and member of the National D.A.D.S. (Dads Appreciating Down syndrome).  He and his wife Lynn have one daughter, Kaitlyn, with Down syndrome as well as 3 rescue dogs (Fenway, Mya & Lucky).  As a family, they enjoy attending Special Olympics events and fundraisers, baseball games locally and at Fenway Park watching our Red Sox, chilling at Lake Winnisquam, cruising in their classic car going to cruise nights and car shows.
