Erin Hattersley

At Google.org, Erin Hattersley leads volunteer efforts for grantees across the Americas region. Prior to Google.org, Erin led the Google for Nonprofits team and was responsible for marketing and assisting the adoption of Google tools by nonprofits to increase organizations’ mission capacity across ~50 countries. Erin is passionate about mobilizing volunteers to drive social impact & has done so around the globe for Google.

Erin also spearheaded Google’s partnership with the Special Olympics World Games which combined the best of Google: its people, money and products totaling 1million of value in kind donations and ~500 volunteers at the games. As a result, Erin was invited to become a Board Member for the Special Olympics Northern California so that she can continue to support the inclusion revolution. To further her impact and in an effort to make Google the best place to work for people with disabilities, she is the volunteer Chief of Staff for the Disability Alliance, their global employee resource group.

Erin has explored a plethora of industries in her 15 years in the workforce spanning philanthropy, international development, finance, and technology with 8 of those years spent navigating through Google. Her most cherished role is being an Auntie of five nieces and nephews. Erin graduated from the University of California, Davis and is a Bay Area native.
