Dragan Tubonjic is a professional data analyst at Bloomberg LP whose personal mission is to tell his story about being disabled while dispelling stereotypes regarding people with disabilities.

He helped to co-found and co-led the NY chapter of B-Able at Bloomberg from 2015-2018. He also was the President of Bloomberg ToastMasters.

Dragan is an inspirational public speaker who is available to speak to groups, including parents and children. His topic is his lifelong journey as a physically-challenged child and adult. Dragan was born with thrombocytopenia with absent radius (TAR Syndrome). It is a rare birth condition, which affects less than 1 out of 100,000 babies born in the United States each year. The condition entails of short arms due to the absence of the radius bone in the arm.

In addition to shortened arms, Dragan was born with club feet. Dragan has had 17 surgeries to correct the club feet while having his arms lengthened.

Dragan has overcome insurmountable odds not only physically, but emotionally by defeating stereotypes and discrimination. Dragan overcame discrimination by the Clifton Board of Education (New Jersey) and was able to reenroll in a mainstreamed public school system.

Dragan was graduated from Montclair State University in 2000 as a Political Science and Speech Communication major with a 3.74. GPA. He has worked at Bloomberg for the past 18 years.
