Diane Hettinger is a uniquely, diversified professional with broad experience in Human Resources, Employee Relations and Employee Health. Currently Diane is a Director in Global Health at Prudential, responsible for ADA Accommodation and establishing processes for the on-boarding of employees with diverse abilities, including Accessibility and Assistive Technology initiatives. She is also responsible for Enterprise-wide Environmental Health & Safety. Diane has spent time during her tenure at Prudential as a Human Resource Business Partner. Prior to joining Prudential, Diane was with AT&T where she held positions in strategic human capital management, health care policy development, project management, HR information systems operations, training and development, global sales, and occupational health leadership. She began her career as a Registered Nurse in a clinical setting.
Diane has been a driving force behind the formation of two absence management initiatives with distinctly different Fortune 100 global employers. Her expertise is in return to work and stay at work strategies, workplace accommodations, claim administration and data analysis of quantitative metrics. At Prudential Diane has been instrumental in fostering a culture of health to positively impact human performance in the workplace, as well as, employee physical, emotional, behavioral, financial and spiritual wellbeing.
Diane received a Bachelor of Science degree from Hartwick College in Oneonta, NY where she majored in Nursing. She has a Master in Public Health from Rutgers University and completed an Executive Management Program at the University of Pittsburgh. Diane has been certified as an Occupational Health Nurse Specialist (COHN- S), is a Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) and achieved Professional Associate status in the National Association of ADA Coordinators (NAADAC).
