Bio

Curtis Kesler is a NA HR Manager located in Auburn, Michigan. In this role, he has primary responsibility for supporting the leaders and employees aligned to two sites in Michigan, and Dow’s North America Finance organization. HR Managers are accountable to provide superior HR service to clients, including attracting and retaining a diverse workforce, increasing employee engagement, fostering Dow’s performance culture, and supporting employee and leader development.

Kesler joined Dow’s Human Resources Team in 2005, as a Global Mobility Partner. In 2007, he moved to Dow’s Texas Operations, where he provided HR services as a HR Manager to clients in the Ethylene and Chlorine envelopes, and to three other Dow manufacturing sites on the Texas gulf coast. He moved into Human Capital Planning & Development in 2010, responsible for Leadership Development solutions globally. In 2012, he became a HR Manager in the North America Geography, supporting the leaders and employees aligned to Purchasing, Customer Service, Information Systems, Facilities Management, and Environmental Health & Safety and Sustainability. From 2014-2016, Curtis was the Global Recognition and Appreciation Program Manager, and from 2016-2017 he was instrumental in the standup of NA HR Operations.

Prior to joining Human Resources, Curtis’ career included positions in Dow’s Customer Service Organization, external HR roles in the .com and automotive industries, and was an Orvis endorsed fly fishing guide and certified white water rafting guide.

Curtis received his B.A. in Business Administration from Hope College in Holland, Michigan.
